Today we've got another Lazy Launch episode in store for you. Remember, I use the term “lazy launch” in a positive way here! Lazy launches are launches that you put together without the stress, overwhelm and months of unnecessary preparation leading up beforehand.
There are a lot of different ways you can make a lazy launch work for you, and today’s guest is no exception! We're chatting all about how a photographer added passive income with digital products.
I’m joined by Rachel Greiman, a copywriter and a documentary family photographer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She owns Green Chair Stories, a company committed to writing words and taking photographs that look and sound like real people.
Rachel worked as a writer and photographer for nonprofits for over 10 years, but somewhere in there she started doing family photography on the side, which eventually became her full-time business. She also began copywriting for other photographers, which became her primary focus.
She entered the digital product space when she realized that she only had two options for her target customers – either providing full copywriting services for them, or nothing. Rachel decided that she wanted to find a way, through digital products, to help her customers that couldn’t afford her services but still needed help with their copywriting. That’s how her digital product ideas were born.
On today’s episode of the podcast, Rachel is going to walk us through her digital product launch experiences. And you're going to want to grab that pen and paper or at least take lots of mental notes, because this is definitely going to get your creative juices flowing for sure!

[066] PR for Product Sellers with LaKeithea Nicole
Tuesday Aug 10, 2021
Tuesday Aug 10, 2021
Most people who are creating and launching digital products are NOT focusing on PR. They’re wrapped up in their day-to-day marketing efforts, but not so much the reputation that they have around their name, their brand, their products/business.
The question is - SHOULD you be?
Is PR beneficial to you to pay attention to?
The answer: Yes, absolutely.
There’s real power in your reputation and having a good one is important. Building strong PR habits right now can be really influential for your business.
To demonstrate this, I invite you to learn from LaKeithea Nicole, a PR expert.
LaKeithea is on the Rebel Boss Ladies podcast today talking about all things PR for product sellers.

[065] Get Started with Day Rates with Sarah Masci
Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
99.99% of the content that I create and teach is focused on launching digital products in a simple and efficient way that will get you real results.
But I also am realistic and know that this process takes time. It’s not a quick snap of the fingers, overnight thing to generate legitimate income with digital products, despite the fact that I wish with my whole heart that it was.
So something I look to do on occasion is highlight other ways that you can bring in income in the meantime, while you’re building up that digital product based income.
In the past, we’ve talked about freelancing in general, but today I want to highlight a very specific strategy that’s gaining more momentum and popularity - for good reason, too.
It’s called Day Rates.
Ever heard of it?
A “day rate” is essentially when you compress all of your project work into one day - your client pays you a premium rate for your day because they’re getting the work down quickly and because they’re paying for the convenience of fast turnaround in combination with your undivided attention.
A couple examples - you can pay a “day rate” to a web designer to design your sales page or redo your website.
I recently paid a graphic designer a day rate to design a bunch of canva templates for a new product I’m working on.
There are lots of examples of this, and if you’re someone who is currently already offering freelance services, day rates might be a perfect way for you to scale up your income potential, while scaling back the amount of time you actually spend working.
Ultimately, this gives you more TIME and MONEY to grow the digital product side of your business. A win/win/win all the way around.
If you’re wondering what you could earn with Day Rates, I’ve seen everything from $750 to $3,000 for an 8 hour day.
Just imagine you charge somewhere in the middle of that - let’s estimate $1800 per 8 hour day and you only want to work 2 days a week. A fully booked out calendar for you would mean $14,400 earned for 8 days of work a month. Even if you only filled up half your calendar, that’s $7,200 earned for 4 days of work in an entire month. NOT BAD. Not bad at all.
Do you see how day rates can help free up your schedule while also giving you enough time to work on more passive income projects like digital products?
Mhmmm. I do.
If you’re curious about how to get started with day rates, tune into this week’s episode of Rebel Boss Ladies. Sarah Masci is going to walk you through her story with day rates, how to get started and how to get the best results.

There’s nothing harder than putting a digital product out there in the world and feeling like you’re not sure if it’s quite ready.
But what if I told you there was a way to launch your product before it’s 100% perfect, that would help you to improve your product for future launches, make money, and ultimately maximize your results?
That’s exactly what beta launching your product can do. And it’s what we’re talking about on this episode of the Rebel Boss Ladies Podcast.
Today, we’re diving into why getting your idea out there imperfectly – whether it’s for a course, product, or whatever it may be – is the best way to make your product super effective.
I’m joined by Steph Woods, a learning designer and course creation expert who specializes in value-focused educational services. She’s worked with a variety of clients all the way from professors at top ranked business schools in the world to A-list celebrities such as Tyra Banks to create profitable digital courses and utilize online marketing strategies to sell with ease.
She works with entrepreneurs to create really action-oriented courses that get results for their students, and today Steph is going to share all about why you need to beta launch your online course.
While her expertise is in online courses, the beta launch strategies she talks about today can be used for any kind of digital product launch. So whether or not you are thinking of launching a course, know that you can still apply the beta launching method she talks about to any digital product.

Today on the Rebel Boss Ladies Podcast we are talking about content batching and the many benefits that come from batching your content.
I’m sure you’ve heard the term content batching before, and maybe you even do it yourself. I’m a HUGE fan of content batching and it’s a strategy that I use on a regular basis, so I can’t wait to share some tips, tricks and strategies with you today.
Most importantly, we’re going to talk about how content batching can help you not only prepare and warm up your audience for your digital product launch, but also how it can give you more time and space in your schedule to work on high priority launch tasks.
Our guest today is Amanda Warfield. She’s a simplicity-focused time management and business strategist and she helps overwhelmed entrepreneurs take back their time and energy so they can stop trying to fit it all in, stop feeling guilty for spending time not being productive, and stop feeling worn out and defeated at the end of each day.
Her goal is to help other women run simplified and intentional businesses so they can find a good work-life balance and the financial freedom, time and flexibility that they were looking for when they started their business in the first place.
I learned a lot from my conversation with Amanda, and I hope you will too! Let’s jump in.

[062] Lazy Launch - Launching a Successful Membership on a Whim with Liz Wilcox
Tuesday Jul 13, 2021
Tuesday Jul 13, 2021
Lazy. Not a word you’d usually think about when it comes to a successful digital product launch, right?
Wrong! Today we’re talking about lazy launches, and I mean that in a really positive way. When I write “lazy launch” I’m referring to launches that don't require a ton of prep work, and don’t incite a ton of overwhelming work or stress.
Your digital product launch can be successful without the months of lead up preparation, the stressful and exhausting launch week, and the anxiety over whether or not your launch is going to succeed.
Joining me on the show today is one of our recurring guests – the incredible Liz Wilcox (she was actually on the first ever episode of the Rebel Boss Ladies Podcast!). I asked Liz to join me for another episode because she keeps doing really cool things that I want to share with you!
When I heard that Liz did one of her recent launches on a whim and with the goal of having 100 people join her new membership in a 30 day period, I knew I had to bring her back for an interview (and I’ll spoil the surprise now – she hit her goal of 100 sign ups on day 29!)
Today we're going to talk all about the work that she did do for the launch, as well as the work that she didn't do, to hopefully shine a really bright light on what's most important for you to focus on when you're planning your launch.
Check out some of the other episodes of the Rebel Boss Ladies podcast featuring Liz Wilcox:

- How This First-Time Online Course Creator Made 13k from Her Launch with Liz Wilcox
