Are you completely torn about what type of digital product to make? Can’t choose between creating an ebook, online course, workshop, virtual summit or one of the many others?
I work with a TON of digital product creators and one of the very first questions I get asked a lot is “what type of digital product should I make?” There are definitely upsides and downsides to every digital product, and it can be hard to tell which one is the best fit for you and your business.
Today we talk pros and cons of ALL of these types of digital products and more with our amazing guest, Lindsay McKenzie of Follow Your Detour.
Lindsay is not only an online entrepreneur, but she's also a full-time adventurer. After teaching kindergarten for six years, she left what was once her dream career to pursue a life of travel and freedom with her husband after finding out some life-altering news.
After a long battle with infertility, Lindsay and her husband discovered that they couldn’t have children together. This led them to re-evaluate how they were living and what they wanted their future to look like.
They decided that this news didn’t mean they were stuck or had reached a dead-end. They decided to embrace this detour, and that is how their blog and brand, Follow Your Detour, was created.
Now, they've been full-time RVing the US for over two years and have created a successful business and a lot of different digital products. Lindsay’s written a book, created an online course, has coached other bloggers, hosts an annual online event for RVers, and also runs a membership site for nomadic couples.
The transformational growth she’s experienced from following her detour has led her to try a lot of new things and helped her figure out where she wanted to go in her life and business.
Today I’m going to pick her brain on all the different types of products she's made and their pros and cons, from online courses to a book to a membership site. Lindsay is going to share what she’s learned through her many experiences in digital product creation, and give some tips about how you can figure out what digital product is best for you and your business.
